Shayne Pike is a Southern California based photographer who has always had a passion for showing her unique view of the world through her work. Her purpose is to highlight the simple –yet beautiful– moments that constantly surround us, but too often slip by unnoticed in our daily lives. This is why Shayne prefers to shoot with 35mm film—film eliminates the ability to immediately review and analyze each photograph in an attempt to curate the “perfect” shot, instead allowing her to intentionally capture and appreciate each candid moment and person as they organically are.
